Florencia- Florencia is 80 years old and a widow. She has two daughters that live close by and her son passed away 12 years ago. In her younger years she made her living as a maid. These days she lives by herself and takes pride in doing so. With her new glasses she will be able to keep her most cherished independence awhile longer.
Emily- Emily is 13 and was struggling at school to see the blackboard and participate in other school activities. She was patiently waiting most of the morning for her Eyeglass evaluation. When the IRT team tested her they were able to fit her with glasses. She was so thrilled and can't wait to try them out in the classroom.
